[ Word travels fast around the office. By the time Grell had returned from her shift to submit the appropriate paperwork, a secretary had already asked her if she'd been by to check on Mister Spears.
Now, she had known that he had been sent on an investigative mission with Ronald earlier that day, so she immediately assumed the worst. Demanding to know where to find them sent her bolting off to the lower levels. The new recruits were smart enough to dash out of the way - and some of them even directed her to the appropriate department; the optometrist's office, where she found William sulking in the lobby.
The poor man was without his glasses, but aside from a scuffed cheek and some healing bruises, appeared to be in one piece. It was his pride that seemed wounded, as the very air about him seemed heavy. ]
Oh, Will.
[ Heaving a sigh of relief, she sinks down into the chair beside him. Though knowing fully well that he won't like it, she won't be kept from fussing over him; reaching out to gingerly dash back some of his hair left mussed by his scuffle, while taking a good look at his wounds. ]
What did I tell you about taking care of your glasses, mm?

Very hastily, she sets to washing her face, and haphazardly slaps her way through her morning skincare routine. Brushing through her hair only makes her realize that she'll have no time to style it, as per the norm, so she settles with re-braiding it, off to the side.
-- And breakfast! She'll need to figure out something for William to eat, as well! With a flustered huff, she hurries through dressing, so that she can get on that.
Unfortunately, this means that she's taken over the bathroom vanity, and left her night clothes tossed atop his hamper.
Perhaps half an hour later, she returns to the bedroom, juggling a few different pieces of dinnerware. ]
--Darling? [ Grell leans down to gently nudge his shoulder. ] I've left breakfast on the stand, alright? There's tea and a glass of juice there, so be careful not to topple it... I've left a few snacks for you on the counter in the kitchen, as well.

Did you turn the burner off?
no subject
[ She's going to double check that. ]
In any case, I'll come back for my lunch, so that we may take care of that paperwork thing, and I'll bring food with me.
[ As for what's on his nightstand, it's all very basic. A smoked salmon bagel and sliced apple. On the counter is raw nuts and an assortment of chopped veggies.
The only benefit of being able to cook next to nothing is simple raw foods, which are very healthy... Sorry, Will. ]
no subject
[ He'll probably triple check that once she's gone. ]
If you are planning on getting food from the office's cafeteria, do not bother with their coffee. It's horrid.
[ This world needs to get a move on and invent the thermos so he can bring his own hot coffee around with him. Still, he appreciates the effort Grell is putting in and is grateful she didn't attempt to actually cook him something. ]
I will see you in a few hours, then.
[ He pushes himself up, back resting against the headboard, and reaches out to carefully grasp the teacup. ]

[ Without thinking, she swoops in to kiss his cheek - and with a gasp, followed by a grimace, tenderly wipes it away. ]
Oh, old habits do die hard. I'll try to remember next time... Sorry.

You made a good cup of tea.
no subject
Really♥?!
[ Hands clapping together, she gives a little hop for joy - and very nearly flings herself at him! But, well, he's holding tea. And she has to do this thing where she is must think before acting, AND manage to ask before she does...
Oh wait-- WORK! ]
OH, I've got to go! [ Ugh!! ] Don't try to miss me too much now, okay~?
no subject
If you can, check on the state of my glasses, as well.

On top of that, the ladies in the office will get to see her acting on William's behalf today! Won't they be positively jealous! ]
Consider it done☆! Bye-bye, darling~ [ He will just hear her BLOW a kiss, this time! ]

If Grell surveys the surroundings as well, she'll note the dish from the morning's breakfast is on the counter, with only crumbs left over. Seems like he enjoyed it! ]

[ With their lunch in hand, she makes her way to the kitchen, first - and is presently shocked to find him so easily there! With a happy hum of surprise, she plops the paper bag onto the counter top - and grabs the paperwork, from it's place nestled under her opposite arm!]
So, the glasses weren't ready, as could be expected, but I was able to get that paperwork for you without too much of a fuss. Also, I got us coffe, sandwiches, and side salads from my favorite little bistro--

[ He wasn't expecting his frames to be fixed, but he was hoping to be proven wrong. But Grell's actually gotten everything he was expecting her to do done! Now if he could just figure out how to get her to behave every day.
William holds his hand out for the paperwork, holding it up close to his face to try and make sure Grell filled in the information correctly. At such close range he can kinda read it. Though that's also helped by the bright red ink she's decided to use. ]
If you will get a pen from my desk, I can get this signed.
[ Plus, that coffee smells pretty good. He hopes she's made his the way he likes. ]
no subject
Yes, dear~♥.
[ She is behaving surprisingly well, isn't she? Then again, things have been going amazingly in her favor. Perhaps she's found it hard to argue.
Once she's handed over the pen, the redhead begins to unbag their lunch. ]
How have you been spending your day, thus far?
no subject
With that out of the way, William glances in the direction of the flat's small outdoor patio. ]
Enjoying the peace and quiet, for once.

[ Grell leans over to take a peek, and finds herself giving a fairly impressed hum! ]
Excellent. Now, if you wouldn't mind signing your paperwork for the office, that will be on the next page.
[ The second page is actually just the order information on his glasses, but she can't miss the chance to tease him. ]
no subject
[ Grell's comment has his immediately lifting the paper again and straining to read it. ]
What? What did you just have me sign, then?
[ It better not be a marriage license! ]
no subject
[ She's unwrapped his sandwich and left it on the paper for him, sliding it across the counter. He can have his coffee once he's done spasming. ]
Now, I'll always have you, too~♥
no subject
Must you? I was in a decent mood until now.
[ Certain he's signed the proper document now, he sets it aside with the pen. At least he can trust that she's brought him something good to eat. ]
no subject
I suppose it would be a bad time to discuss the honeymoon, then?
no subject
[ He grabs the coffee cup with a huff, but hums pleasantly when the flavor hits his tongue. It's perfect. ]
Besides, I already took you to Germany with me. And now you've spent the night, as well. That is more than enough attention.
no subject
[ Now, she's able to portion the salad between them. Just looking at it, she's already got her tongue hooked over those sharpened teeth of hers. It's crisp, and has a sweet vinaigrette dressing! ]
no subject
[ Another long sip of his coffee and he's carefully lifting the sandwich she's chosen for him to his nose to smell it first. He can't quite place what it must be, but it seems he's interested enough to take a bite. ]
no subject
You're right, that will be fun. [ Grell sets his salad down within reach. ] I hope it shall be one day soon, I simply can't wait to see you all dressed up.
[ As for the sandwiches, they are delicious steak and onion baguettes. Grell's opted to dig into her salad first, once she's had a long and gracious sip of coffee. ]
no subject
[ He takes a decent enough bite out of his sandwich that he quickly motions to Grell for a napkin. There's a bit of gravy from it that threatening to drip off his chin if it isn't attended to quickly! ]
no subject
[ Seeing his distress, she can't help but laugh, though. Leaning over, she delicately takes his chin, wiping it for him! ]
There we are.
